We want to come alongside you as you are the 'everyday, everyone disciple making movement among all people groups both here and there' by giving you opportunities to serve and live on mission.
Pathways are specific opportunities you can join to reach people and serve. All our pathways are listed below and new ones will be added in the future! Check out the different ways you can be a part and sign up for ones you would like more information about.
Pathways
Our faith family is honored to serve among International college students here in central Arkansas and strives to be a family that serves as a resource for incoming and present students, serve in cooperation with the local IFO (International Friendship Outreach) ministry and be able to assist students in different avenues of life. In our desire to see all Nations come to Christ, ISM is a vital ministry opportunity at our doorstep where we will continually serve in new ways to engage the Nations for the sake of the Gospel.
Serving Opportunities within this pathway:
1) IFO Partnership – Attend Conversation Club Nights in the semester to share a meal and have conversations with international students at UALR. Attend offsite IFO Events like Picnics, Game days, etc. Help organize and provide a meal hosted by our church family for one Conversation Club.
2) Direct Student Assistance – Meet physical needs of international students. Student Airport Pickups. Student temporary housing when they land in the states until they can move into their apartment/dorm.
3) Hosting – Over break student housing (summer, winter, etc.)
Living out our vision of being a church vibrant and active in our community and city, we desire to serve our immediate neighbors around the church building with the initiative of 100 Homes. Our desire is to be in prayer and service to 100 homes around our building property.
Serving Opportunities within this pathway:
1) Prayer Walking – As a team/team leader, you will organize regular Prayer Walking days and actively prayer walk/prayer knock; ideally once a month.
2) Current and New Adoptions – Adopt not yet adopted Homes. Our church members, and people within this pathway can ‘adopt a home’ as a family unit.
3) Door Gifts – Organize door gifts with invite cards for special days like Christmas, Birthday Celebration, Easter, Block Parties, etc.
4) Active Serving – You may even have a ‘serve day’ once a year, to assist any homes with yard work, carpentry, painting, etc.
